We are looking for a creative and solution-oriented UX designer for an exciting consulting assignment with a socially important player in the public transport sector, based in Stockholm. The assignment (full-time) runs from October 29, 2025, to October 29, 2026, and is based at the client's office, with the possibility of remote work 2 days a week.

About the role:

As a UX designer, you will be a key person in the agile App team responsible for the development of digital sales channels. You will be part of a cross-functional team alongside product owners, developers, testers, and a team coach. The work is carried out in close collaboration with internal teams, external suppliers, and other design and development teams within the organization. You will report to the team's design lead and regularly collaborate with architects and business managers.

Examples of tasks

• Drive concept work and develop user-centered design solutions
• Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
• Anchor design solutions with development teams and stakeholders
• Test and iterate designs based on user tests and feedback
• Independently plan and conduct usability studies
• Collaborate with other UX designers within the organization to ensure a consistent user experience
• Document and present design solutions in relevant forums
• Work in accordance with accessibility principles according to WCAG AA

About you:

We are looking for someone who is communicative, structured, and has a genuine interest in creating user-friendly digital experiences. You are accustomed to working agile in cross-functional teams and thrive in complex environments with many stakeholders. You have a method-driven approach and strong experience in user-centered design throughout the process – from insight to implementation.

Experience and skills:

To be considered for the assignment, you need to meet the following requirements:

• At least 6 years of work experience as a UX/UI designer within mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)
• At least 3 years of documented experience in UX design full-time
• Documented experience working systematically with user-centered design, including the application of methods such as user journeys, interviews, prototyping, and user testing (at least two assignments in the last 6 years)
• At least 3 years of experience independently planning and conducting usability studies using methods such as user testing, observations, surveys, and interviews
• At least 2 years of experience creating design sketches and interactive prototypes in Figma, including the use of Design tokens and Variables
• Documented experience in detailed design within an established design system for at least 2 years (within the last 7 years)
• Documented experience evaluating design based on accessibility principles according to WCAG AA (supported by at least two assignments)
• At least 2 years of experience in design work within an agile, cross-functional development team
• At least 3 years of post-secondary education in IT or equivalent

The following experiences are particularly meritorious:

• Experience collaborating in larger organizations (at least 500 employees) where multiple departments and external suppliers collaborate on joint design projects
• Work experience from design assignments with target groups that have particularly high accessibility requirements, e.g., people with visual impairments or cognitive disabilities
